This device uses a Tasmota incompatible module which needs to be replaced with an ESP. Besides the module, this process will require a heat gun, soldering tools and moderate soldering skill.

Overview

The IoTextra Input is part of the IoTextra series, a family of modular hardware designed to simplify automation and control system development.

Each input channel is fully isolated, allowing safe monitoring of higher-voltage digital signals while protecting the control electronics. This design makes the module suitable for interfacing sensors, switches, and industrial control signals.

The IoTextra series serves as a fundamental building block of the ecosystem built around the Make Things Happy philosophy, bridging the gap between rapid prototyping and industrial-grade reliability.
