  • Purchased from Amazon in January 2024 and it’s using an ESP8266 (TYWE3S).
  • Note that the USB outlets are always on, not controllable (though they do have an LED).
  • Case opens easily with “2.3” sized triangle head for nerd-screwdriver.
  • Easy to flash w/out soldering (as covered in this video)
